I totally agree when you say: "But to do Florence (and yourself) any justice you’ll need at least a couple of days. If you rush in and out of the most populated city in Tuscany you’ll probably leave disappointed." Florence has so much to offer to its visitors and depending on the days, there are also interesting events going on. For example: last weekend there was "Taste and Fuori Taste" for foodies. I ate so much pecorino, salami and Tuscan wine... for free! Well, I also write a blog about Tuscany.
