It's been so long since we went on safari to East Africa, though this story brings it all back. And doing it with out the tour guides on ones own can have its rewards -- it's the way we did "most" of the game parks, minus one which was very steep jungle terrain, as well as flat plains -- and after the guide left we actually got our jeep stuck miles into this very rugged area where we hiked out of but would never recommend it again considering the wildlife that was around, as in plenty of hyena, lion, elephant, rhino, etc. But your trip to Namibia sounds like a dream again. Will give this quite some consideration.

Hi

Do you go to any other African countries after your Namibia trip? We're planning on going from Etosha across to Maun, Botswana (self drive) so I'm interested to know of anybody who has done this.
